This post is a little bit late. Anyway, here's a photo of me doing the special "swim" exercise my dad came up with for me. He says it's hard to duplicate the swimming movement with weights and this is what he came up with for strengthening my upper body. I guess it works as I did OK at the competition!
This summer when school is out, I think I'll do some weight lifting exercises. For sure, squats will help me out with track and field. I'm lucky that my dad has a pile of weights in our basement. He's a good coach too!
